Brazilian playmaker Oscar has insisted that he is “very happy” at Chelsea amid speculation that he may leave the club.
Recent reports suggested that the 24-year-old could join former teammate and compatriot Ramires in the Chinese Super League, but Oscar said today that he loves Chelsea.
“I want to stay here for a long time,” he told the club website. “I want to win more games, more trophies, because I love Chelsea.
“I love the fans. I like the city, my family like it here. I don’t have [a reason to] change the club. Everyone likes me here and I’m very happy here.”
Oscar first joined Chelsea from Internacional for a reported £25m in July 2012 and is under contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2019.
